Prices are based on live marketplace search data pulled at the time of your scan. Real sold listings are prioritised over asking prices.
Does adding more photos help?
Yes. Extra photos of tags, labels, size markings and damage help the AI identify your item more precisely for a better price estimate.
Why does analysis take a while?
Flip searches multiple UK marketplaces in real time - usually 15-20 seconds.
Which platforms does Flip support?
eBay, Vinted, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, StockX, Vestiaire Collective, Etsy, Shpock, Preloved, Ziffit, Music Magpie, and CeX.
Is my data private?
Photos are sent to our AI provider for analysis only and are never stored on our servers - your scan history lives on this device. Some account data (like your subscription tier and any price alerts you set) is stored securely so the app can work across sessions. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings, not in the app itself - cancelling there stops the next renewal.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Account → Profile → Delete Account. If you no longer have the app installed, see our account deletion page.
